SUMMER READING 2017

This year's theme is "Build a Better World". We will be spending time this summer building, discovering, sensing, transforming, and learning about diverse lifestyles. Track your reading and attend programs to receive fun and exciting prizes. Registration is appreciated for all programs to ensure enough supplies are prepared. 

Logs must be turned in before August 15. 

Food Drive: Bring a canned food item (non-perishable) to a program and receive an extra ticket for our end-of-summer raffles. All items will be donated to a local food bank.

Discovery Club

Come to the library for a time of building, discovering, sensing, and transforming! This program is open to children of all ages.

Lunch with Ms. Heather

Wednesdays
12:30 - 1:30 PM

Come to the Library for the Summer Lunch Program and eat with Ms. Heather!! Note: this program will be canceled in the event of rain or inclement weather.

Recycled Materials Art

Tuesday, July 18th
6:30 PM

Come to the library and turn trash into treasure!! We will be utilizing recycled materials to make fun art projects. Make sure to bring any interesting recyclables from home with you for your project.

Family Movie Night "Drive In"

7:00 PM

Bring your family to the library for a special summer themed "Drive-In" on the front lawn of the library! Bring a blanket to sit on and we will provide the treats! In the case of inclement weather, we will move the drive-in indoors.

Water Party

Tuesday, August 1st
6:00 PM

It's hot! Cool off at the library with a Water Party! Water Balloons, water games, water EVERYTHING!! If you leave dry, you're doing it wrong. Sign-up is required in case of cancellation. Cancellation notice will occur a half hour before the party starts.
